Teal Labs, a locally owned and operated cannabis company, set out to open its first dispensary in January 2025. The challenge? Establishing a unique and transparent brand presence while maintaining the identity of its existing in-house brands. Teal Labs needed a strategy that would not only introduce the dispensary to the market but also resonate with young cannabis consumers in South County and Southwest Illinois—an audience that prioritizes transparency, local sourcing, and a sense of community.
As part of The Galactic Group, my team came together to bring this vision to life. Under the name Fifth Sense Dispensary, we crafted a compelling brand identity rooted in authenticity, education, and a welcoming customer experience. From brand positioning and creative storytelling to a comprehensive PR and social strategy, we developed a launch plan that ensured a powerful first impression.
With the slogan “Smoke Without Mirrors,” Fifth Sense Dispensary emphasizes transparency in sourcing and product quality—something its competitors lacked. Our team designed a multi-channel launch campaign, leveraging social media, influencer collaborations, and community events to build excitement. A brand launch party, exclusive promotions, and strategic media partnerships helped establish Fifth Sense as the go-to dispensary in St. Louis.
