This Privacy Policy applies to the Mera Sankalp app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by SkillarCode E-Learning (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

2. Information Collection and Use

We respect your privacy. The Application is designed to store your personal habit data locally, but we collect certain anonymous technical data to improve the app's stability and performance.

• Personal User Data (Offline): Your Challenges, To-Do lists, Progress Logs, and Notes are stored locally on your device. We (the Service Provider) have no access to this personal content.

• Technical Data (Online): The Application uses third-party services (Google Firebase) that may collect information used to identify your device for analytics and debugging purposes. This includes:

  • Device ID & Advertising ID (AD_ID)

  • Crash Logs & Performance Diagnostics

  • App Interaction Data (e.g., screens visited, features used)

3. Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is transmitted to external services to help us maintain the Application. We use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Services

• Google Analytics for Firebase: To analyze how users interact with the app so we can improve the user experience.

• Firebase Crashlytics: To collect crash reports (logs) when the app malfunctions. This helps us fix bugs quickly.

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To deliver push notifications and reminders to your device.

Backup: You are responsible for maintaining any backups of your local data using the device's file system or the in-app Backup feature.

5. Device Permissions

The Application requires certain permissions to function correctly:

• INTERNET: Required to send crash reports and analytics data to Firebase.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): Required to send you reminders about your daily routines and challenges.

• STORAGE (Read/Write): Required to save PDF reports and Backup files to your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Application is safe for all age groups. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

7. Security

We value your trust. Your local data is secured by your device's security protocols (Pattern/Pin/Biometrics). Data transmitted to our third-party partners (Firebase) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
