Replace Broken Sprinkler Heads
There’s a good reason to keep extra irrigation tubing and sprinkler heads in your cabinet garage storage. When it’s time to turn the water back on this spring, you might find a broken sprinkler head or two either flooding your yard, shooting water 10 feet in the air, or both. It’s a good idea to keep a stock of each sprinkler head you need, whether it’s flat, semi-circle, corner, adjustable, or full-circle. You should also inspect your irrigation lines to make sure they didn’t break during the freezing cold. After turning the water around, walk around the yard and look for any flooded areas and make a plan to fix them before the dog days of summer.
