OPEN STUDIOS 2026 Art Walk — FREE ENTRY 

For the fifth year in a row, Melkbos Ateljee OPEN STUDIOS is opening its doors—a much-loved annual celebration that has become a favourite among locals and visitors from near and far.

Join us on Saturday, 26 September, from 9 am–5 pm and Sunday, 27 September, from 9 am–4 pm for a weekend filled with art, creativity, discovery and the unique charm of our beautiful coastal town.

Entry is FREE!

So, how does Open Studios work? Collect your Open Studios Map from our main Art Hub at the Atlantic Beach HOTEL on Commaille Road, Melkbosstrand, and follow the art route through the town. Visit the participating studios, meet the artists, make new friends, enjoy Melkbosstrand, invest in art — or simply get inspired!

We are proud to introduce our specially selected artists for Open Studios 2026, each bringing their own unique vision, talent, and creative story to this year’s celebration.

PLEASE NOTE: While visiting Melkbosstrand, please take a moment to breathe, enjoy the surroundings, stick to the speed limit, avoid parking on the wrong side of the road, and help us keep our beautiful town clean.
