There’s something magical that happens when art lovers gather in a place as special as Melkbosstrand.

We’re a collective of creatives right here on the Cape Town coast, in Melkbosstrand — a little community that believes the best things grow when people come together to make, share, and celebrate.

Our heart is simple:
to lift up local artists (both the ones just finding their voice and the ones already shining),
to team up with the businesses that make our town thrive,
and to gently spark the next generation of talent through real, hands-on, community-led projects.

This September we’re extra excited:
From 21 to 27 September 2026, we’re hosting our very first Melkbosstrand ART/FILM Festival — a whole week of film from around the world, a relaxed Poetry Corner, hands-on art workshops, and a special performance by Karen Zoid (Zoid Spawn) with the Melkbosstrand High School Choir… plus so much more.

The week ends the way we love most: with our much-loved OPEN STUDIOS weekend, when studios open their doors, and the whole town fills with colour, conversation and creativity.

Through art and culture, we hope to keep weaving our little community even closer, bringing people together, and making Melkbosstrand an even more beautiful place to call home.
