This means that with more and more people in the city, there needs to be more public transit. Within The Greater Melbourne Area, the LGA (Local Government Area) with the highest population growth is Wyndham. In the current plans for the MM2, there are four proposed stops: Wyndham Vale, Werribee, Hoppers Crossing, and Laverton. Melbourne has the third largest population growth, and will also be serviced by numerous MM2 stops.
