Planet Identification using Nigraha
Nigraha is a neural net-based pipeline for detecting shallow transits for Earth-like planets using data from TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite). I wrote the code for this pipeline from scratch using this paper and trained the net on the archival data from over 30 sectors from the MAST (Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes). I have further been working on modifying this pipeline to classify other transits such as binary star systems and improving the accuracy for planet classification.
