Megan Palmatier

Hello! My name is Megan Palmatier and I am a Gardaute of SUNY Oneonta! I am currently seeking a secondary social studies teaching position. I graduated from Oneonta with a 3.68 GPA and as a member and captain of the Women's Basketball team as well as the Softball team at SUNY Oneonta. I recently have had experience in the education field as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher. I have had other experiences in education including teaching Global I and Global II regional summer school courses, substitute teaching for all grade levels, assisting in an extended school year program for special education students and students with diverse behavioral needs. I student taught at Gilbertsville Mount-Upton School District as well as the Unatego Central School District. During my placements, I taught 7th-grade social studies, 9th-grade global, and 12th-grade participation in government. My personal passion in social studies is for world history, American history, and geography!
