Below are examples of work I have done with education technology including lessons that incorporate the use of technology, a software analysis I did in an education technology course as well as my personal education technology statement. I believe in today's world education technology is extremely important. It is important that we as teachers can use technology can teach students to use technology and have students interact with technology regularly in our classes. I am currently enrolled at SUNY Oneonta to begin my Masters's degree in Education Technology Specialist. I believe this degree will provide me with the skills that I need as a 21st-century teacher and will lead to my success as a teacher to be greater which in turn only benefits my future students.
This is an example of 7th-grade work that incorporates education technology. For this assignment students were directed to read an online article and answer the questions in the packet that corresponded to the reading. This assignment doubled as a literacy and technology lesson as the students needed to use reading and writing comprehension skills while practicing technology skills needed to navigate the article.
