Particle kinematics is the study of motion without considering the forces that produce it. Although the governing equations are often compact, developing an intuitive understanding of particle motion, velocity, acceleration, and different coordinate systems can be challenging.
The animations in this module are designed to complement classroom lectures by helping students visualise these concepts and relate the mathematical formulation to the physical motion of a particle.
