We are the Materials and Devices Theory Laboratory (MDT Lab) in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Incheon National University, working at the intersection of electronics engineering, condensed matter physics, and quantum technology. Our research aims to uncover the fundamental principles governing semiclassical and quantum transport in solids and to translate this understanding into novel materials and devices. We combine atomistic first-principles calculations on supercomputers with physics-based modeling. We welcome self-motivated undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs; interested candidates may contact Prof. Yeonghun Lee at y.lee@inu.ac.kr.

MDT Lab은 전자공학, 응집물질물리학, 양자기술의 교차점에서 고체 내 양자 수송과 무질서계 물리 현상을 연구하는 이론 연구실입니다. 우리 연구실은 전자 거동을 지배하는 근본 원리를 규명하고 이를 새로운 소재 및 소자 설계로 확장하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 슈퍼컴퓨터를 활용한 원자 수준의 제1원리 계산과 물리 기반 이론 연구를 병행하고 있습니다. 학부연구생, 대학원생, 박사후연구원을 모집하고 있으며, 관심 있는 지원자는 이영훈 교수(y.lee@inu.ac.kr)에게 연락 바랍니다.
