Bangladesh: Debt Mediation For Returnee Migrants 


Bangladesh: Debt Mediation for Returnee Migrants’ Supported by International Organization for Migration, key responsibilities are:

∎ Manage and implement the planned activities related to information sharing with potential migrants, returnees, and migrant families.

∎ Regular communication with local government and DEMO (District Employment and Manpower Offices) and TTC (Technical Training Centres).

∎ Organize field-level meetings, discussion sessions, and programs with the targeted stakeholders.

∎ organize the local Grievance Management Committees (GMC), collect migration grievance debt mediation cases and refer to GMC or GRC (Grievance Receiving Centre) at BMET, Dhaka.

∎ Collect field-level migrant data, grievance cases, and case studies for advocacy purposes.

∎ Organize different awareness sessions regarding safe migration and human mobility.

∎ Support monitoring and evaluation and reporting team of the project to document.

∎ Any other activities or duties as assigned by the project management.

The Project was responsible for Data Collection, Social Map under PRA tools using and Data Posting at Kobo Collect besides this we are also working on work planning, GPS location, SW Map checking, etc. During this time, Visited more than 15 Upazillas of Cumilla District out of 17 Upazillas. like Barura, Brahmanpara, Burichong, Comilla Sadar, Comilla Sadar Dakshin, Chandina, Chauddagram, Daudkandi , Debidwar, Homna, Laksam, Lalmai, Monohorgonj, Muradnagar , Nangalkot Upazila for collecting data for assessment of migration impact and local development.


Major tasks are:

a. Data Collection, Data entry, and Data analysis

b. Lead on the development of Questioner for effectual study

c. Developing and maintaining relations with a governmental organization, NGO, local authorities

About the Project:

The project was run by Sheikh Kamal Hi-tech Park Authority under the Ministry of Information and Technology of the Government of Bangladesh. In addition to participating in our young generation in various IT courses, the Essential British Council's English Language Education Course (APTIS) is required to participate.


Responsibility:

My responsibilities as an instructor in this course are:

1. Trainees take action to overcome English fear.

2. To make students in Basic 4 modules (Speaking, Writing, Listening, Reading) of Communication English.

3. Provide a clear idea of the basic grammar connection.

4. Provide inspiration and guidance for learning English as an instructor.


Achievement:

Under this project, I have the opportunity to work with a total of about 250 trainees in two branches. I have had a chance to work with a group of the young generation. I was trying to solve English weakness, how to use it as a language, and finally be more confident as an English communicator of them.
