What grade are your kids in? My kids have all gone to Sunset Ridge Elementary. I have Lucy who is in 4th grade this year and then her older brother's Jude (9th) and Max (7th). 

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  My favorite PTA sponsored event is probably the Winter Tea! I love the tradition of it and seeing all the families enjoying the art work, music and cookies.  

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? I love being a part of the PTA because it gives me a way to be involved in my kids' school and be a small part of the behind the scenes. It has also given me the opportunity to connect with other families in the community and build strong relationships with teachers and staff that I may have not had the opportunity to get to know as well had I not been involved! My favorite part is finally getting to the day of a big event (that so much planning has gone into) and see the kids and families enjoying every minute of it. It makes the behind the scenes work so worth it! 

This will be my 4th and final year as Co-President with my youngest moving to Middle School next year. It has been such a rewarding experience to be able to integrate into the school community!

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA?  Outside of the PTA and being a taxi driver for my three kids, I work full time as a Manager of Recruiting for a local firm called Carex Consulting Group.

What grade are your kids in? My oldest, Audrey, is in 3rd grade and Amelia is in 1st grade!  I have 3-year-old twins as well named Vivian and Julia.

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  Winter tea or the Spring Carnival.  These larger events are so fun to see come together!

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? The community it creates within the school and being able to be involved.  I have always wanted to be involved with my kids' school and the PTA makes it so easy!

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA?  I work full time as a laboratory supervisor at a pharmaceutical company and run a home bakery.

What grade are your kids in? Oliver is in Kindergarten and Emma is in 3rd grade. 

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  Winter Tea, as it's fun to connect and meet other parents as well as see all the students amazing artwork. 

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? I love being at the school and interacting with the incredible staff and students, as well as feeling like we are putting down roots in the community!

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA? I'm on the board on a local moms group, as well as a Etsy shop owner.

What grade are your kids in? Our girls are in Second (Lauren) and Kindergarten (Abby) this year.

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  Spring Carnival - what's not to love about face paint and cotton candy?! 

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? I've learned that the PTA events are a longstanding tradition at SSR - I love being part of creating memories for a new group of kiddos.

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA?  I work full time and love taking walks, golfing, and reading.

What grade are your kids in? Dean is in 3rd grade and Miles is in 4K (so he will be at SSR in the Fall of 2025).

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  There are so many fun ones but my favorite would have to be winter tea. It's so magical! 

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? The PTA is such a big part to the school and contributes to many memories made for all the kiddos. I love being involved and part of the Sunset Ridge community. 

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA?  I'm the Chief Wellness Officer at my family specialty construction company where I focus on keeping employees healthy and safe.

What grade are your kid(s) in? My son is in kindergarten- we are so excited to be a part of the Sunset Ridge community!

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event? I am most excited about Trunk or Treat! Both my son and I love Halloween, and Trunk or Treat will be a great way to celebrate with all the kids. 

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? First and foremost, I am proud to be working with such a great group of kind, caring people, who are dedicated to making a positive impact on our children's educational experience. I look forward to collaborating with other parents and teachers to support school programs and having fun while doing it!

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA? I work full time as a Senior Accountant in telecommunications. In addition to spending as much time with my family as possible, I enjoy baking, kayaking, and reading.

What grade are your kids in? Solomon is in fourth grade, and Yael is in kindergarten!

What is your favorite PTA sponsored event?  The Sun Run! I previously worked in fundraising so I love helping Solomon find sponsors.

What do you love about the PTA at Sunset Ridge? I love the people! They're so kind, so open to different perspectives, and so committed to helping our school and our community. They really inspire me.

What do you do outside of volunteering with the PTA?  I teach knitting at a couple of local yarn shops. I also love to garden, read murder mysteries, and cook.
