Vice Commandant John Ostman called the meeting to order. Commandant Peter Swing was absent due to a graduation ceremony at Berkeley Academy. Eight members and one guest were in attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read.

Sick Call

Member Richard Drake is recovering from triple bypass heart surgery. Steve Stoll is having a surgical procedure. George Lincoln Cole recently fell from a bus and is recovering. We keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

Paymaster Report

Andy Pucek is away visiting family in the U.S. His last Paymaster report stated we have a balance of $1,990, plus 856,000 colones.

New Business

Member Eddie Casco, now ‘Executivo Experiencia de Veterans’, introduced his guest Carolina Contreras from Hospital CIMA Veterans Assistance office. Eddie mentioned that he and Carolina are available to assist veterans. Thank you Eddie and Carolina.

We are planning a ‘meet and greet’ with the new MSG Detachment Commander GySgt Greg Roberts at the Marine House. More information to follow.

Member Charlton Chao mentioned a Poker Tournament at the Sheraton Hotel Casino is being organized. More information to follow.

John mentioned a Golf Tournament is planned for the first week of December. More info to follow.
