Some students, according to their diagnosed or observable needs, require only time and a half. BUT, some students require double to triple time, depending on their needs. Students will be provided the time needed in a variety of ways through their subject teachers .

• extra time to write assessments and evaluations in one sitting;

• assessments and evaluations that are reduced in quantity, not quality;

• chunked assessments and evaluations that can be written over more than 1 day, or completed at outside of class;

• alternative assessments and evaluations to tests or presentations (for example)

• extra time can be provided by the subject teachers and/or Resource staff, depending on the students' preferences and needs.
