The Marysville Community Food Bank Home Delivery Survey Project

I'm Nohri Nunez, a current student at Everett Community College. For my diversity, equity, and social justice capstone project, I wanted to use my connections at the Marysville Community Food Bank to help my local community.  

The Marysville Community Food Bank (MCFB) provides food for thousands of clients each year through its in-person distribution method. However, there are many disabled individuals who are unable to make it to the food bank in person and receive aid. To serve this community, the MCFB Home Delivery program was created. In this program, volunteers prepare food packages and deliver them to households signed up for the program. So far, however, little data has been gathered from the clients regarding their perspective on the program. Because of this, I chose to create a survey to find this data. 

By surveying and interviewing the MCFB Home Delivery clients, my mission is to learn more about the Home Delivery program, including its successes, failures, and accessibility.
