When CCC switched to a new learning management system (LMS), I was involved in every aspect of the training process, across all modalities (in-person, online, and hybrid) and with a strong emphasis on project management in train-the-trainer (TTT) programs. My responsibilities ranged from initial conception and needs analysis to curriculum to marketing and logistics to evaluating.
Purpose: To deliver consistent training and support within the first year of a new LMS
Responsibilities: Leading, Scheduling, Coordinating
Audience: Faculty Trainers
Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, EventBrite, WordPress
Results: Empowered over 20 peer trainers to facilitate over 3x as many workshops and consultations
Purpose: To develop consistent training for faculty trainers to deliver
Responsibilities: Conducted needs analysis, collaborated in designing workshops, guides, surveys, handouts, and templates
Audience: Faculty and Staff
Tools: Word, PowerPoint
Results: 80% of faculty were trained on the LMS within 6 months
Purpose: To provide an anytime, anywhere option to the Foundation training workshop
Responsibilities: Designed learning experiences and assessments complement the ILT workshops, managed enrollments, awarded badges
Audience: Faculty
Tools: Brightspace, Word, PowerPoint
Results: Bringing the workshop completion totals over 90%, an additional 10% of faculty completed the online Foundations training. Over 5% of faculty revisited this online content as a review.
