I am in the process of publishing a chess game, called ChessMate, first for the Android platform, then for iOS. A web version may also become available at some point.
This web page represents evidence of my commitment to get the game published and then to maintain, update, and improve it semi-regularly.
The current version is 0.2.5 alpha. This version is stable and can be used to play a chess game, between two players on the same Android device, on an 8x8 board or on a non-standard board.
Currently, this application is in the closed testing phase, as approved by Google on June 25th. You can access the testing program following these links:
This downloads the application:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mbeceanu.chess_mate
This confirms participation in the testing program:

This is an alpha version and is provided as-is, with no implicit or explicit guarantees regarding its functionality. If it crashes on your phone, just restart the application and let me know. However, it is 99% stable and future versions will be even better.
Note: If you are denied access through the links above, but would like to take part in the testing program, this could mean you are not yet on the testers' list or you are not logged in to the appropriate Google account. In the former case, if you are interested, please contact me on LinkedIn or Facebook and I will add you to the list.
This version may not be updatable, meaning that to get future versions you may need to uninstall and reinstall the application.
ChessMate does not require or use any personal data. The current version 0.2.5 does not even use an Internet connection when running.
