CHANNEL ORGANIZATION (CSV for import to RT Systems or CHIRP Program)
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
N.B. If you use this CSV method, you should bear in mind the following:
1. The CSV file incorporates elements that will not be transferable to all radios. For example, the length of channel names varies from radio to radio (some are 8 characters, some have only 5 characters).
2. In addition, there is a third (1.25 meter) band included in the CSV file. The TD-H8 and many other radios do not have this band, so you will get a message informing you that those memory entries have been dropped.
3. Be sure to make the necessary adjustments, as necessary, and to your liking, using the CHIRP software, before you try to upload the IMG file to your radio. Using the "Settings" tab will enable you to modify various things, such as "Power on Messages", "Voice prompt", "Squelch level", "Power on prompt", and radio name, etc.
