Bridges MAYO has had a long standing history of connecting its musicians with music composition. Former MAYO music director, Lauren Bernofsky- an internationally acclaimed composer, composed many of her string pieces while conducting MAYO's youth orchestra.
She continues to make guest composer appearances to the Bridges youth orchestra, teach and offer masterclasses to our Bridges composers.
