Large ensemble music making is integral to Bridges MAYO. We bring together students of all levels to engage in a large ensemble experience. Parts and pieces are customized to meet the needs of our diverse levels. Here, you can listen to a performance of "Old Joe Clark," by the 2016 Bridges MAYO Orchestra.

During our 2019 Bridges MAYO composition camp, students wrote music for themselves and faculty to perform. Here, Lauren Bernofsky and Maggie Olivo are performing an original duet composed by Valeria N.

In addition to learning a variety of repertoire, Bridges MAYO incorporates dance, music history, and games to provide a deeper understanding of music. Here, Erica Rubis is teaching some traditional Renaissance dance steps to the Bridges MAYO students.

Music improvisation is core to our Bridges Chamber Music Camp. We begin with improvisation each day with improvisation. Improvisation helps students not only as musical technicians, but as communicators, creative artists, active listeners, and independent people.
