Hello and Welcome!!

Hello! My name is Maycen Kirchner. In May of 2021, I graduated magna cum laude from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Upon graduation, I acquired a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics along with a minor in Business. In August of 2022, I began my Dietetic Internship and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. I am eager to continue this education and eventually pursue a career that combines my passion for all things food with the valuable knowledge and experience gained along the way.

Since I can remember, I have always been fascinated by and had a passion for all things food and the ways in which it interacts with and influences our everyday lives. I have always loved to eat and cook for others, but more recently I stumbled into the dietetics program and have not looked back. Because of this, I have had the opportunity to delve into the more complex side of one of the most routine things we all do as people. As food and eating impact nearly all facets of life, studying dietetics has offered me an outlet to explore the production, science, art, controversy, conflict, and impact of food - and how it truly makes a difference in each and every one of our lives. The purpose of this site is to portray my journey through dietetics and display my experience, knowledge, credentials, and interests to potential dietetic internships and/or employers.
