Post Acute Medical Rehabilitation Hospital

As the Dietary Clerk at PAM, I am primarily responsible for the handling of the menus within the facility. This includes preparing daily menus with additions of supplements and corrections according to diet orders. I also collect the menus, assist patients in completing their menus, and tally menu counts for production. As the hospital is a rehabilitation facility, several discharges and new admissions occur daily, requiring organization and communication skills to ensure the correct patients receive the correct diet according to diet order and are fed timely according to admission time.

Longbridge Bar, Grill & Marina

Since the Spring of 2017, I have worked as a seasonal employee at Longbridge, in Detroit Lakes, MN. At this restaurant, I work as a server - greeting tables, taking food and drink orders, delivering orders, and settling customer tabs. This is a very highly trafficked establishment, with a fun and extremely busy environment. In the Summer of 2020, on one day, I completed a total of $3,300 in invdividual sales. Along with serving, I have worked as a bartender and conducted on-the-job training for three new employees.

Nutrition Float Substitute: Feb. 2020 - April 2021

Fargo Public Schools

At Fargo Public Schools, I act as a secondary float substitute for all district schools and the central kitchen. In this role, I travel to any of the 23 distict schools that may need help or to fill an absence. When at the schools, I prepare salad bar items, condiments, work in the dish area, and serve on the line. At the central kitchen, I worked to package over 2,300 take-home-meals, to be sent with students over the weekend.

As an intern at Roasted, I observed and shadowed the management practices of the coffee shop/bakery. I was responsible for independently opening and operating the coffee shop, which included tasks such as: preparing coffee drinks, stocking the bakery cooler, and provide quality customer service.
