Hi! My name is Maya Mariscal. Growing up in an immigrant household, I have had to make many opportunities to learn and grow. I grew up here in the Inland Empire in California and love living in the bay area! Growing in an area with so many different cultures and exposure to the various opportunities here for me, where to go to school, where to live, how to develop who I am as a person, and more. My Father never went to middle school or high school, which means there were many things I had to navigate and teach myself. I currently am really involved with my family! I am part of the first generation of college graduates in my family.
For the past 3 years, I have been working on developing social media content across several different media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).I used to be an Honors Ambassador for the CHC Honors, specializing in social media. I also love to learn how to make boba tea from scratch, make recipes, and baking!

Two qualities that I would use to describe myself are resilience and kindness. It's like the concept of a rubber band, knowing when to bend and compromise for the better good while maintaining integrity and inner strength despite the turbulent times we live in.
‧°𐐪♡𐑂° Myer-Briggs Personality Type ‧°𐐪♡𐑂°
My personality type is ENFP-T. What does this reflect about me? As the 16 Personalities website brings out, "outgoing, openhearted, and open-minded" and "these personality types run deep – as does their longing for meaningful, emotional connections with other people". ENFPs are outgoing and attach deeper meaning to both people and life experiences, allowing both to enrich their lives. My personal favorite description reads, "When something sparks their imagination, Campaigners can show an enthusiasm that is nothing short of infectious. These personalities radiate a positive energy that draws in other people".

I am an auditory learner, I learn by hearing and listening. I understand and remember things I have heard. I store information based on the way it sounds, and have an easier time understanding both written and spoken instructions together! I often learn by reading out loud because I have to hear it or speak it in order to know it! I am also a visual learner, I am able to better understand when I see pictures or visualize a concept. Accomplishments
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, community service is at the forefront of my life. 15-30 hours of community service each month have been accomplished for the past 6 years!
