I was born in Florence in 1953. But since August 2012 I live in San Miniato (PI). Always passionate about music, I started to compose the first songs at the age of twenty. I continued to write songs of religious character (liturgical, various prayers: you can find them here in the page SINGING TO THE SKY) until I discovered the texts of Gibran and I set to music various poems, creating my own "LOVE NOTES" genre. With the arrival of my children, I also discovered in me the creative vein of music for children. I did various shows in schools and self-produced several ALBUMS for KIDS.

Now that I’m a grandfather, I don’t just teach the old songs to my grandchildren: they also have the right to a personal share of "dedicated" songs...!

Meetings (look at the ALCHEMY page) have been so much important in my musical history. Often fortuitous, (for those who believe in coincidences...), but always fruitful and exciting. I came into contact with the thoughts, the lives and especially the dreams of a lot of friends, sharing with them extraordinary experiences and giving life to SONGS AND DREAMS. At a certain point in my life, the passion for music magically merged with that for the theater and I met people with whom I could share these creative enthusiasms, which then resulted in the writing and subsequent staging of real musicals. Two of them, were represented in two important Florentine theatres (the "Giardino delle Muse" (The garden of muses) at the Verdi theatre - "Il Vangelo Secondo Me" (The Gospel according to me) at the Everest theatre).

Well, yes, after a short experience as a singer in a glorious chorus, the "Jubilee Shouters", I started my adventure as a conductor, founding with the collaboration of Stefano Cheli the choir "Senbassinga" that for thirteen years I led through joys, hardships and many satisfactions. Then I moved from Florence and so I left this choir in "custody" to my friend Lucio Starita with whom I had previously shared many musical and life experiences. In 2016 I founded the gospel choir "On Train Gospel Choir" in San Miniato (PI), which I’m still conducting, inventing new forms in the period of the pandemic: remote rehearsals, Virtual Choir, YouTube première concerts, and other amusing things...

I recently started to compose songs in English and translate some existing ones, accomplices to the temporary presence of a son of mine (with partner and two children) in the United States and my innate sympathy for this language whose knowledge I try to deepen more and more. I decided to create a website already in 2002, driven by the desire to collect in an ideal container all the material produced until then. And with the intent to entrust to the web a bottle with my message. To date, A.D. 2022, I feel the desire to spray this environment with a more current look and a more immediate usability. I hope the music that I pulled out of me and the music that is yet to come out... will find ears that can appreciate it and hearts that know how to welcome it.
