Dr. Masami Matsubara is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Mechanical Engineering at the Waseda University from 2023. He received his BS, MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Doshisha University, Japan in 2008, 2010 and 2014, respectively. He worked in the toyo tire in charge of development on manufacturing system for tire and tire factory startup work from 2010 to 2013, in the Toyohashi University of Technology as an Assistant and Associate Professor from 2014 to 2022. His main research areas include vibration engineering, tire dynamics, image processing and material characterization.
