Location and parking

All conference events will take place at the Crocker Science Center (near Presidents Circle) at the University of Utah. We will mainly use rooms CSC 205, 206.

Parking around the Presidents Circle is free during the weekend.

Gender Neutral Bathrooms

You can find a map with gender neutral bathrooms in campus using the Campus Map. Please select "Gender Free Restrooms" under the Map Features>Accessibility drop down.

Lactation Rooms and Child Care

There is a lactation room at the Crocker Science Center (located in the basement near class labs and classrooms - next to the women's restroom).

Unfortunately, we do not have funding for child care but we can try to provide names if you are in need of a sitter.  Children are welcome!

Ethical Conduct Agreement

One of the main goals of Math For All is to create a welcoming environment for all participants. We wish for every participant to feel welcome, included, and safe at our conference.  For that reason, we ask you to be mindful of your words and actions when communicating with others. We all have a bias and make mistakes. With an open mind and a willingness to apologize, we can create a safe space for everybody.

If there is a situation during the conference that makes you feel unwelcome, we ask you to please talk to one of the organizers so we can help you as best as we can.

 Pre-Conference Poster Workshops

As part of the pre-conference events for the 2023 Math For All Conference, we are organizing a poster workshop for our math majors. In this workshop, we will go over the basics of poster preparation and answer your questions about how to prepare a conference poster. Everyone is welcome to join this workshop regardless of their interest in presenting at the conference. We are happy to announce that we will print posters for 10 undergraduate students presenters free of charge and we would really love to have you as a presenter at the conference!

Register for the November poster workshop here!

*There will be another workshop in January.
