Math 1A is the first semester of the SRJC Calculus sequence. Topics include limits and continuity, differentiation, applications of the derivative, integration, and applications of the integral.
Upon successful completion of Math 1A, students will be able to:
State and apply basic definitions, properties, and theorems of first semester calculus.
Calculate limits, derivatives, definite integrals, and indefinite integrals of algebraic and transcendental functions.
Model and solve application problems using derivatives and integrals of algebraic and transcendental functions.
