It took me some month to search the Internet for standard „Algebraic Surfaces“ and translate them for a Blender geometry node use. Sure there are some more objects, but with this Blender Project, I can offer you five packages with about 150 complex mathematical equations.
Here are 5 sets (+1), each containing 25 Algebraic Surface made for blender use. Similar to my XYZ Function Add-on but "non-destructive". That means you can change with the parameters in the geometry modifier the View, the Form, the Size and you are able to go back to your start whenever you want, without beginning new. All Objects are usable as assets
A Flip Face Button is integrated for a easy change
Material Slots are placed in the GN Modifier
Multiple performance clean up
Read for Blender 5.1
I found this: While you can graph these equations using real numbers in a 3D space, mathematicians primarily study them over the complex numbers. Complex numbers allow these surfaces to form continuous, closed manifolds without holes in the way real coordinate graphs often do. Over the complex numbers, a "surface" actually has a complex dimension of 2, meaning it topologically behaves as a four-dimensional space.
this should explain the background - but for me it´s even more confusing 🤪
