MaNdel Torus Lab

An "Mandel_Torus" (or Mandelbrot torus) is a three-dimensional extension of the classic, two-dimensional Mandelbrot set, in which the fractal pattern is projected onto the surface of a torus (a donut shape) or mathematically folded into it. The classic Mandelbrot set is based on the formula \(z_{n+1} = z_n^2 + c\) in the two-dimensional complex plane. To translate these structures into the third dimension, mathematicians and digital artists use various approaches.
