Circle of Friendship: Rug Hookers with their favorite hook ~
Mason Dixon Chapter ~
The Mason-Dixon chapter was the 10th chapter of ATHA, formed in 1981 and is part of the Region III which includes DE, MD, DC, PA, VA and WV. The Chapter, with more than 100 members, meets monthly in Ellicott City, MD. At its regular meetings, the group sponsors speakers and demonstrations which promote new skills and techniques in rug hooking and related arts. The Chapter sponsors workshops of one to three days duration, for study in greater depth, with renowned teachers from across the country. The Chapter also holds an annual luncheon to which other area Chapters are invited, featuring camaraderie and sharing of ideas. Mason-Dixon promotes participation in exhibits and workshops all over the country and the world.
