Those who would like to make the pattern should bring a frame, hook, scissors, Sharpie to trace pattern, backing of choice (Linen backing will be available for purchase) and wool ( Wool will also be available for purchase from the usual vendors or from the Janet S. estate sale.) Should you finish hooking the pattern, then you'll also need tapestry thread and needle, poly-fil, and a glue gun to finish the project.

21 Nov - Making a holiday pillow. Ginny F. will show members how to make a Feather Tree Pillow (a Betty McClentic pattern). Those who would like to make the pattern should bring a frame, hook, scissors, linen backing size 15" x 25", 8 cut wool for tree, 6 cut wool for base, and buttons to decorate the tree. Very little wool is needed to complete the pattern.

19 Dec - Sale of items from the estate of Janet S.; White Elephant Swap; and Holiday luncheon.

The estate sale will feature yarn and any items remaining from previous sales. Note that these sales are for Mason-Dixon members only. New members are always welcome!

The White Elephant Swap is a fun exchange where members bring a wrapped gift (or gently-used item) worth about $15. Members are then given a number and either choose an unwrapped gift or "steal" one previously selected. The rules of the game will be explained, but here's some background to give you a general idea of what will happen.

The Holiday Potluck Luncheon is an annual tradition. Bring your favorite holiday food to share.
