I have begun my education curriculum classes at Louisiana Tech, and, although I've only taken four EDCI classes so far, I've already learned so much that will help me in my future classroom:
Through EDCI 125 I've learned what it means to be a teacher, and I was given the chance to observe a few classrooms to figure out what grades best fit me.
Through EDCI 207 I've learned how to motivate my students and keep them interested in the lessons.
Through EDCI 210 I've learned how to use technology to benefit my students.
Through EDCI 219 I've learned how to comprehend what I'm reading and how to help my students understand what they're reading.Â
I've taken stem block where I studied how children thinks about math and science. I have finished these class and passed both the elementary math and science praxis.
I'm currently taking lit block where I dive into what it takes to teach a child to read and write!
