Signing up for Maru-Jan

Signing up for Maru-Jan is pretty painless. You can do it for free, and first time signups get points just for signing up!

If you're on a browser, simply visit http://www2.maru-jan.com/sys/regist/regist_form.php. If you are trying to register via mobile app, the first green button on the left will take you to the registration page.

Once there, Simply enter the required info. Nicknames can take 8 japanese characters, but my nickname typed in english is 10 and is accepted.

Emails seem mostly to notify you for events and event results.

The most important thing on this screen is the Location. If you're from overseas, you are looking for the second option from the bottom, 海外. Location is very important, as events frequently reference your location. Once registered, you will be directed to download the client for PC. Enter your username and password after starting the PC client and you are set!
