ABOUT MAKER SPACES
Makerspaces provide creative time and, space for people of all ages to build prototypes, explore questions, fail and retry, bounce ideas off one another and build something together.
EXAMPLES OF MAKER SPACES
School librarians at Orchard Park Middle School converted an old computer lab into a space to make. They pose weekly challenges to students then during study hall time students can choose to come to the Maker Space and create. Some projects include stop motion video, Makey Makey kids, Snap circuits, origami and more.
