FRUIT SALE INFORMATION

WHO: Any Marion Music Student can participate

WHAT: Earn money to off-set Show Choir costs or support the MHS Vocal Music Program

WHEN: Sell from September 15th-29th, 2021

MAKE CHECKS OUT TO 'MHS'

There are two ways to sell: Online or face-to-face. To sell online or to allow face-to-face customers to make credit card payments, please do the following:

1. Go to https://www.4sns.com

2. Click on the Shop / Register Now! Tab

3. Click on the Students Register Here Button

4. Click on the "Register - I Know my School ID" Button

5. Our School ID is: 4SMARI07 (that is a 'zero' not the letter 'O')

6. Click "Continue"

7. Enter the Seller's Last Name, First Name, Account Owner's Email Address, Cell Phone Number, Seller's Goal, and Password

8. Click "Submit"

9. Personalize the FUNDRAISING PURPOSE and Upload a Picture (studies have show that profiles with a picture sell 250% more items)

10. Click "Continue to Complete Registration"

11. Create a personal text message if you wish such as "Hey, this is _____________. I'm selling fruit, meat, and cheese to off-set the cost of show choir / raise money from my high school choir program. The products will be delivered the first week of December. It would really help me out if you'd purchase something. Thanks so much for your support."

12. Click "Submit"

13. You will see some easy access links for social media. Feel free to click on those and share.

14. Click "Complete Registration"

If selling face-to-face, MAKE ALL CHECKS OUT TO 'MHS'. Please collect money up front. We do not want to collect money upon delivery in December.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW & TIPS

• You will likely make more in 1-hour selliing to family and friends than you will earn at your part-time job in one hour. For example, if it takes 2-5 minutes to walk to a house and give your sales pitch and then also make a sale, you could visit 12-30 houses in 1-hour. Let's say you go to 15 houses and 10 of those say, "No thanks. I'm not interested" but 5 of the houses purchase just one item. Let's say it is also one of the items with the lowest profit margin - 6 oz. Dark Chocolate Caramels with Sea Salt which is sold forr $10 and you earn a 40% profit of $4.00. If all 5 houses just purchase that one item, you have earned $20 for 1-hour of work. And remember, this is a worst case scenario. Your results will likely be better than this especially if you follow some of the other tips you see below.

• FACT - No other school in our area is selling this fruit, meat, and cheese package so we are the only ones who will approach people and present these options.

• FACT - There are less options for fruit if people purchase online than there are if you sell face-to-face. The reason for this is because items that are shipped directly to customers must be packaged differently and not ALL fruit travels well in this way. 4 Seasons Fundraising wants to ensure that the fruit that arrives to customers looks beautiful and tastes great and has not spoiled so there are fewer items on the online store for fruit.

• TIP - If you know someone who owns a business or manages a group of employees, there's a good chance that they will give their staff members a gift near the holidays. Why not show them the 4 meat and cheese gift box options on the cover of the brochure. They literally come in a gift box and can easily be stored until its time to present them to the staff. Just think, the bigger the staff, the bigger your profit. It's a win-win for you and the employer/manager.

• TIP - When selling face-to-face, if a customer doesn't have cash or a check book but can pay with a credit card, you can do this securely through the 4 Seasons Fundraising website. Just do the following:

1. Go to https://www.4sns.com/

2. Click on the "Shop / Register Now!" tab

3. Enter your "Seller ID" number (if you don't have one, you'll need to register - see instructions above)

4. Choose a catalog and have them make selections

5. Follow the promps to check out and they can pay with a credit card

• PRIZES - All prizes are added together and are cumulative (e.g. 20 items gets you snack sticks and carmel corn)

1. 10 items - Carmel Corn

2. 20 items - Meat Snack Sticks

3. 30 items - 5 lb. Bag of Gummy Bears

4. 60 items - $25 Fandango Gift Card

5. 120 items - $100 Amazon Gift Card
