WAMAC HONOR CHOIR

The WAMAC Honor Choir is open to all MHS Students and participants from Marion are selected by Mr. Dyrland.  Typically, students who have auditioned for All-State or Opus are selected for this choir although other students may be selected as needed to fill out the choir based on their voice part.  Students must prepare 4-5 pieces of music selected by the WAMAC Honor Choir Conductor.  Mr. Dyrland will hand out copies of this music and will supply rehearsal tracks and/or hold sectionals to rehearse the songs before the event.  Students will wear choir robes for this event.  Men must supply their black dress pants, black dress socks, and black dress shoes for under the robe - a T-shirt is acceptable to stay cool under the robe.  Ladies must supply their black hosiery (knee high or higher and black dress shoes (flats are preferred for your comfort).  Comfortable clothing for under the robe (e.g. T-shirt and shorts).  If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Dyrland.
