This project was developed in partnership with AGVS, based in Curitiba, Paraná - Brazil. The project aimed to develop a new navigation mechanism for autonomous cargo transport equipment, such as tugs and pallet trucks. The AGVS was responsible for developing all the equipment, and the contribution of the author of this site was the creation and implementation of the Artificial Intelligence algorithm (intelligent system) used in the equipment to allow it to be able to find itself in the environment, carry out the path planning and navigation autonomously and safely, using only data processing from 2D sensors, without any physical marker. The project was implemented in a factory in São Paulo - Brazil.

This project was developed in partnership with the companies Similar and AGVs. When containers are collected from the truck, using specialized equipment, the truck may be hoisted next to the container. With this problem in mind, equipment was developed to identify when a truck is being hoisted together with the container. The equipment then sends a signal, which stops the collection. Truck identification takes place through sensor data processing, a LiDAR sensor. The algorithm then identifies whether or not there is a truck within range of the sensor and if any of the wheels are suspended. This project is implemented in a company in Santa Catarina – Brazil.

This project aims to develop a sensor capable of informing the amount of grains in silos. Silos are used to store grains, such as soybeans and corn, and identifying the volume of grains in the silos is difficult. This project is an idealization, not been implemented to date.
