Make Up Lessons and Late Policy:
If the student is more than 10 minutes late to their lesson without informing the teacher the lesson is canceled and will not be made up.
Make-Up lessons will only be provided if the teacher has to cancel the lesson.
If there is an unavoidable conflict with a scheduled lesson time the student may reschedule by switching times with another student if it is arranged a week prior to the scheduled lesson.
In case of emergency, leniency will be given on the above policies.
Probation and Discontinuation of Lessons:
If the teacher feels the student is not progressing as they should due to lack of practicing, not enough parent cooperation/support, or other things out of the teacher's control, the student will be on probation and given 1 month to improve before being dismissed from the studio.
If the student no longer wants to continue lessons, 1 month of notice must be given. There will be no refund of payment received at the beginning of the month if the student does note continue throughout the month.
Communication between student, parent, and teacher is highly encouraged to avoid the above situations.
