Group learning is the perfect format for introductory learning.
Peer learning motivates students to do better through healthy competition and encouragement.
More engaging types of learning are possible in a group setting including: games, ensemble playing, peer feedback, and constructive listening.
Learning in a group allows those who aren't ready to progress at the rate of a private lesson to learn to play music as well.
Ensemble playing in group piano helps students learn to listen better, pay more attention to rhythm, and to work together.
