Marauder Champs 2017

The 2017 champs were run by Richmond Yacht Club on the 29th and 30th April. Five windward leeward races were held on Saturday with one longer race on Sunday.

Weather on Saturday was  very wet with about 10 to 15 knots of wind. This called for some close racing with positions changing throughout the day.

Sunday was not as wet but we had 25 to 35 knots of wind. This was much harder on the boats and crew with most boats reporting some exciting moments where things did not go quite as planned.  

Overall the champs were a great success and enjoyed by all attending.

The MOA AGM and Prize giving were held on Friday 19 May at Richmond Yacht Club.
