The event is always evolving and 2016 a Stand Up Paddle race was welcomed to the family. This year, the Ard'river Paddle of the Marathon International des Gorges de l'Ardèche remains part of the "Regional" challenge of the coveted Eurotour label.

The race is open to those aged 15 and over (minors must hold a competition licence with the FFCK; dispensation possible on request to the organiser). You will cover 27 km in the majestic beauty of the nature reserve between Pont d'Arc and Saint Martin d'Ardèche. There's something for everyone, whether you're a solo paddler or a group (1 to 4 on a paddle, or OC1, OC2, Va'a, etc.)

Inflatable SUP boards are recommended, Rigid SUP boards are permitted, but the event organisers take no responsibility for any damage incurred during the race. CE certified PFD / Buoyancy aid and helmet must be worn. As well as covered footwear and clothing appropriate for the climatic conditions.

The race is open to boards from 1 to 4 places (Rigid or inflatable)
The start of the race is 09h00 from the beach upstream of the Pont d’Arc. There is a MANDATORY race briefing at 08h30
