Le teaser 2023

The Marathon of the Ardèche Gorges is a legandary event that has been created over many years.  Today is the 39th edition of the race, where the lucky participants paddle, depending on the boat chosen, the 34 km or 27 km of the majestic canyon that is the Gorges of the Ardèche

Whether it's a kayak or a canoe (MARATHON race), on a stand up paddle (ARD'RIVER PADDLE race), or in a pirogue, ontario, C9 or other large boat  (CHALLENGE race), all are facing the challenge of the legendary descent.

An internationally recognised event where accomplished champions mingle with amateurs who come and brave the turbulent waters of the Ardèche river in November.  In a unique atmosphere and an exceptional setting, some are looking for victory and the fastest time,  while others are participating for the sensation and the simple pleasure.

The hallmark of the marathon, is its originality.  The spectacle of hundreds of boats,  passing through a breath taking landscape and in the spectacular surroundings of the classified Nature Reserve.

We can wait to welcome you - Saturday 11 November 2023 - for this 39th edition!
