The NSTF is a Greater Boston subregion of sixteen (16) communities:
Beverly, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Ipswich, Hamilton, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Swampscott, Topsfield, and Wenham
Fun Fact: All sixteen NSTF communities are a part of Essex County, which is a designated National Heritage Area.

Beverly Village for Living and the Arts Site Visit
July 2025 | Beverly, MA
In July, the North Shore Task Force visited the Beverly Village for Living and the Arts, an adaptive reuse project that turned a former public school into affordable housing.
The Task Force was joined by staff from Harborlight Homes, which led the development of the project, as well as the current property manager, Beacon Communities.
This site visit was the culmination of a series of discussions over the previous year about affordable housing.
