ICC Site Visit to Medford
December 3, 2024 | Medford, MA
The ICC visited Medford to learn more about re-zoning efforts, street scape and public realm improvements, and new developments along the Mystic Avenue corridor. Planners and staff from Medford, Melrose, Revere, Cambridge, Brookline the MPO, and MAPC gathered in the Arts Collaborative of Medford's gallery, studio, and community space, licensed in partnership with Theory Wellness, and toured a new commercial development.
Sharing these spaces with an after school program at ACM and a holiday fundraiser auction, the ICC had many opportunities to think about how to start to transform an auto-centric corridor to a community-centric corridor.
