Do you know when vocational /Career Tech courses were first offered in Mansfield?
Mansfield's first vocational courses were offered at Mansfield Senior High School in 1927.
Since then the Mansfield Career Tech programs have grown to over 10 programs with articulation to local colleges for college credit!
All current MSH Career Technical Education programs are aligned with North Central State College, Stark State College or The University of Akron and any other state college through Career-Technical Credit Transfer (CT2) program providing 2 to 18 semester hours of college credit and receive a license or certification upon completion of our 2 year Career Tech programs*.

Career Tech Stats
- Over 50% of junior and senior class on average are in Career Technical Education.
- 91% of Career Tech students in 2012 class graduated.
- The Gateway Program finished its first year of engineering in 2012-2013 and now has 48 students enrolled with counselors turning students away.
