Unfortunately, we didn't get a response quick enough from the final panel of professionals, however we have feedback from our product development review. This feedback was collected via an anonymous Google Forms survey.
"Both Kayla and Shelbee showed extensive knowledge of the research and prototype. Presentation and drawings neat and organized which helps an audience that may not have background knowledge on topic."
"Great use of data in your presentation. Very polished presentation, you both seemed very confident in what you were saying. Your justification for your design idea was really good, even a non-cyclist could understand the need. Very nicely done."
"Wonderfully done, best presentation I've seen thus far. This group was very educated in the subject and did an excellent job presenting it. I myself am not a cyclist, and only ride a bike when I must, but seeing this presentation made me want to become a cyclist and purchase the product. Additionally, the information was presented in a logical way. The presentation incorporated many engineering principles - which I am unfamiliar with - and presented them in a way that made it easy to understand. Perhaps the group could begin with defining the idea of a 'cyclist' that they will be referring to, because I was unsure if the term cyclist was referring to someone who raced bikes or rode them for leisure."
In our final presentation, we clarified who our stakeholders were and emphasized who can use our product. The Rear Axle Support is a solution to any bike with the correct size rear axle, regardless of whether it is a racing bike or leisure bike.
