Osaka Cityscape – Featured in Photography Week, Issue 01 (September 2012)
Captured with a Sony NEX-3 | 10-second long exposure
This image was born from a quiet evening overlooking the vibrant city of Osaka. I was captivated by the interplay of light, motion, and structure—the way the city pulsed with life even as night fell. With my Sony NEX-3 in hand, I set up for a long exposure to translate that energy into a still frame. A 10-second shutter allowed the light trails to weave their narrative, painting a portrait of urban rhythm and flow.
Being selected for the very first issue of Photography Week back in September 2012 was both an honor and a turning point—it affirmed my passion and reminded me of the power a single frame holds. Capturing Osaka that night wasn’t just about the city; it was about seeing the familiar with patient eyes.
