In this project, I explored an emerging techology that's expected to hit the mainstream in the next decade. The goal is to research how it works, why it's useful, and what the problems it might cause in society once everyone starts using it. We had to back everything up with academic sources and present it.
I chose smart glasses because I feel like nobody talks about them and how useful it can be. I'd rather not look down at a tiny screen and have a hunched back when I'm older. I wanted to know if this tech would replace our phones or if its another expensive gadget that's going to fail.
The most interesting thing I found was how smart glasses can be used by surgeons to simulate training. I think it's a good idea so they can train in a safe environment where no one can be hurt until the skills needed to perform are acquired.
