Travel to Latvia can be done by plane or by bus/train. Please try to book flights directly from the website of the airlines, as it can be easier to make changes or request a refund in case of need.

The arrival day to Riga is 20st of May 2025, maximum at 18:00 in the evening! If for some reasons you cannot find tickets with morning or after-noon arrival time please email us and we will find a solution for you! The arrival hour is set this way because we need to leave for Upeslīči in the evening and will have a 1h travel, as there is no good public transport connection to the project venue. You can also arrive 1 - 3 days earlier to visit Riga, on your own expense.

We will depart back to Riga on 30th of May in the early morning, so make sure you have flights that leave not earlier than 8:00-9:00 a.m. on 30th of May, because we will again have a 1h travel in order to reach Riga in the morning of May 30th! You can also stay in Riga 1-3 days later and visit, on your own expense.

IMPORTANT!

The meeting point for the departure to Upeslīči will be at an accessible location in Riga and set later on. 

We strongly encourage you to buy flights that have the possibility to do online check-in and in this way you will be able to give us the return boarding passes as well, without sending them to us by post when you return home !

If for your airline is not possible, you still need to send us the boarding passes by post after the project. It is very important to have all your travel and financial documents with you for each person, otherwise the reimbursement will not be possible !
